Consumer Guide to Health Care
This guide for consumers on the quality of healthcare and healthcare billing and pricing practices was developed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Medical Boardas directed by SB 1731* (2007). The agencies are required to provide, via their internet websites, information on consumer access to health care as well as billing information from health plans or from healthcare facilities.
